RESIDENCE IN COLÒNIA SEDÓ

This project is an ampliation of the Teatre Sedó. It consists in making a residence for the theater students.

In this project, the emplacement becomes very important as its intention is to continue with the logic of the pre-existing forms making a negative of it and creating new gaps that trace interior courtyards.

The pre-existing streets connect with the covered corridors of the residence, where the accesses are distributed.

The ground floor of the residence is a free plan where the public space for students’ leisure becomes the most important thing, such as the dining room.
